What 5x112 Means & What Uses It

5x112 means five lug bolts arranged on a 112mm-diameter circle. It is the dominant modern pattern across BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi/Volkswagen platforms in our fitment library — 257 of the vehicles we cover use it. Center bore is not universal within this pattern: most BMW and Mercedes-Benz models we cover use a 66.5–66.6mm bore, while some Audi/VW platforms run 57.1mm. A 5x112 wheel from one brand will not necessarily hub-center correctly on a different brand’s 5x112 vehicle — always confirm center bore separately from bolt pattern on the specific model page below.
