Jeep Bolt Pattern & Center Bore Notes

Based on the 95 Jeep fitment guides we cover, we have documented 8 distinct bolt pattern / center bore combinations across different Jeep platforms and model years:

  • 5x127 bolt pattern, 71.5mm center bore — 44 models we cover, spanning 2003–2027.
  • 5x139.7 bolt pattern, 108mm center bore — 20 models we cover, spanning 1940–1982.
  • 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 71.5mm center bore — 11 models we cover, spanning 1986–2012.
  • 5x110 bolt pattern, 65.1mm center bore — 6 models we cover, spanning 2014–2026.
  • 6x139.7 bolt pattern, 77.8mm center bore — 5 models we cover, spanning 2022–2026.
  • 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1mm center bore — 4 models we cover, spanning 2007–2014.
  • 6x139.7 bolt pattern, 89.1mm center bore — 3 models we cover, spanning 1974–1978.
  • 4x108 bolt pattern, 65.1mm center bore — 1 model we cover, spanning 2027.

Do not mix platforms: a wheel forged for one Jeep bolt pattern / center bore combination will not hub-center correctly on a different one, even if the diameter looks right. Always confirm your exact model and year against the bolt pattern and center bore listed on that model page below before ordering — or send us your VIN or trim level and we will confirm it for you.

Offset and backspacing recommendations vary by trim even within the same bolt pattern, mainly due to differences in brake caliper size and suspension geometry between base and performance trims. Every ANKUSI wheel is forged to your exact target offset, so send us your Jeep model, year, and trim and we will confirm the correct spec before production — no guessing required.

How to check the bolt pattern on your Jeep

The most common Jeep fitment in our guide is 5x127 with a 71.5 mm center bore (44 of 95 model years we cover).

  1. Read the stamping on the back of an original wheel: size, offset (ET) and bolt pattern are usually cast into a spoke or the hub pad.
  2. No stamping? Measure center-to-center between two adjacent lug holes. For 5x127 that distance is 74.6 mm (PCD × sin(180° / 5)). A 2 mm difference already means a different bolt pattern.
  3. Match generation and year on the model pages below — the same nameplate can change bolt pattern or center bore between generations.

Changing width or offset? Check how far the wheel moves in or out with our offset & backspacing calculator.

Vehicles Using 5x127 With a 71.5 mm Center Bore

In our database, 21 other vehicle entries from 4 makes use exactly the same 5x127 bolt pattern and 71.5 mm center bore. Factory wheels from these cars bolt on and center on the hub without rings; offset and width still have to be checked.

5x127 is used by 1.3% of the vehicle pages in our English fitment guide (82 of 6,503); 79.3% of those also use a 71.5 mm center bore.

Hub-Centric Rings for a 71.5 mm Center Bore

A wheel with a center bore larger than 71.5 mm needs a hub-centric ring. The most common combinations:

Wheel boreRing size
71.6 mm71.6 → 71.5 mm
72.6 mm72.6 → 71.5 mm
73.1 mm73.1 → 71.5 mm
74.1 mm74.1 → 71.5 mm

ANKUSI forged wheels are bored to exactly 71.5 mm for this vehicle, so no ring is needed.
