2027 Mercedes-Benz EQS Wheels & Rims: Bolt Pattern, Offset & Sizes
Fitting Mercedes-Benz EQS wheels? This page gives the 2027 Mercedes-Benz EQS bolt pattern (5x112), centre bore, factory rim size and the offset range for aftermarket and forged Mercedes-Benz EQS rims: the same spec sheet ANKUSI uses when machining forged wheels for this car.
Quick answer: The 2027 Mercedes-Benz EQS uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.6 mm centre bore and M14x1.5 lug bolts. Factory wheels: F: 20x8.5J R: 20x9.5J. For aftermarket wheels, 21x9.0J ET28 front / 21x10.0J ET32 rear sits flush and 22x9.5J ET25 front / 22x10.5J ET28 rear is the most aggressive fit.
Forged wheels for the 2027 Mercedes-Benz EQS — drilled 5x112 with a 66.6 mm centre bore, built to the offset you choose. From $220 per wheel, made to order in about 25 days.

How to Read Wheel Offset & Measurements
Use these two references before ordering: the left diagram shows where each spec (PCD, center bore, offset, width and diameter) is measured on the wheel; the right diagram shows how positive, zero and negative offset shift the wheel face relative to the hub centerline.

ANKUSI Engineering Expert Advice
Most of the engineering value in a forged wheel over a cast one shows up in rotational mass, not outright strength — both can meet the same load rating, but the forged piece gets there lighter. On a sedan platform tuned for everyday balance, that weight saving is felt directly in steering response and ride quality.
The Mercedes-Benz EQS runs a 5x112 bolt pattern, 66.6mm center bore, and a F: 20x8.5J wheel from the factory. Our Flush Fitment reference is F 21x9.0J ET28 / R 21x10.0J ET32, which tucks the tire under the fender lip on a stock-height Mercedes-Benz EQS. Our Maximum Aggressive reference is F 22x9.5J ET25 / R 22x10.5J ET28 — beyond that offset, expect rubbing against the inner fender liner under compression without further trimming.
Mercedes-Benz EQS OE Wheel Specs
The 2027 Mercedes-Benz EQS (EV Luxury Sedan) uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.6mm center bore. Factory wheels are F: 20x8.5J R: 20x9.5J.
Why the factory spec works for most owners:
- Balances ride comfort with everyday fuel efficiency
- A widely used size in this segment, so tire and wheel availability stays strong
- Keeps unsprung weight low for stable, predictable handling
- Maintains clearance for the factory brake calipers and suspension components
ANKUSI builds these wheels — we are the forging factory, not a reseller. For the Mercedes-Benz EQS (2027) we drill the 5x112 pattern and cut the centre bore to 66.6mm on our own CNC line, so the wheel hub-centres on the car with no spacer rings, in whatever diameter, width and offset you specify.

Flush Fitment
For a flush look with minimal rubbing, F 21x9.0J ET28 / R 21x10.0J ET32 is the recommended starting point on a stock or mildly lowered Mercedes-Benz EQS.
Maximum Aggressive Fitment
F 22x9.5J ET25 / R 22x10.5J ET28 is a more aggressive reference setup. Beyond this, expect rubbing under compression without fender rolling or camber correction.

Decision Guide
Offset & Backspacing Reference
Backspacing is calculated as wheel width (in) ÷ 2 + offset (mm) ÷ 25.4 + 0.5 (flange allowance):
- OE: F 20x8.5J ET35 → ~6.13″ F backspacing, R 20x9.5J ET40 → ~6.82″ R backspacing
- Flush: F 21x9.0J ET28 → ~6.1″ F backspacing, R 21x10.0J ET32 → ~6.76″ R backspacing
- Max: F 22x9.5J ET25 → ~6.23″ F backspacing, R 22x10.5J ET28 → ~6.85″ R backspacing

Custom Forged Wheels for the Mercedes-Benz EQS (2027)
Everything above is reference data. If you want wheels actually built to it, that is what ANKUSI does: we are a forged wheel factory in Guangzhou, China, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certified, forging on our own 10,000-ton press and producing over 120,000 wheels a year. Forging blank, CNC machining, finishing, coating and inspection all happen in the same building — nothing is subcontracted and nothing is relabelled from another manufacturer.
Every set is cut to order, so the 5x112 pattern and the 66.6mm centre bore are machined for this car specifically rather than shimmed with adaptor rings. Diameter, width, offset, concavity, monoblock or multi-piece construction and the finish are all yours to choose.
Designs we already tool for the 5x112 pattern — each one is re-cut to your sizes and offsets:

Vehicles With the Same Hub as the Mercedes-Benz EQS (5x112, 66.6 mm Bore)
In our database, 823 other vehicle entries from 21 makes use exactly the same 5x112 bolt pattern and 66.6 mm center bore. Factory wheels from these cars bolt on and center on the hub without rings; offset and width still have to be checked.
5x112 is used by 21.6% of the vehicle pages in our English fitment guide (1,407 of 6,503); 58.6% of those also use a 66.6 mm center bore.
Mercedes-Benz EQS: Specs by Model Year
| Year | Bolt pattern | Center bore | Factory wheel |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2022 | 5x112 | 66.6 mm | 20x8.5J |
| 2027 | 5x112 | 66.6 mm | 20x8.5J |
Bolt pattern and center bore stay the same across all 2 model years in our database (2022–2027).
Hub-Centric Rings for a 66.6 mm Center Bore
A wheel with a center bore larger than 66.6 mm needs a hub-centric ring. The most common combinations:
| Wheel bore | Ring size |
|---|---|
| 67.1 mm | 67.1 → 66.6 mm |
| 70.1 mm | 70.1 → 66.6 mm |
| 70.5 mm | 70.5 → 66.6 mm |
| 71.6 mm | 71.6 → 66.6 mm |
| 73.1 mm | 73.1 → 66.6 mm |
ANKUSI forged wheels are bored to exactly 66.6 mm for this vehicle, so no ring is needed.

Wheel Installation Reference: Torque, Thread & TPMS
Thread & Fastener: M14x1.5, ball-seat lug bolt.
Factory Torque Spec: 130 Nm (96 ft-lb). Sedan/coupe platforms (E-Class, CLS, SL and similar) generally use the shorter 27mm bolt at this spec.
TPMS: TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) has been federally mandated on all new light vehicles sold in the US since the 2008 model year. If your wheels use OE-style sensors, have them transferred or cloned to the new wheels at installation.
Tire Pressure: Always set tire pressure to the value on your vehicle's tire placard (driver's doorjamb or glovebox), not the max PSI printed on the tire sidewall — this is trim- and tire-size-specific and stays the same reference point when you switch to a different wheel and tire combination.
Reference data compiled from published OEM service specifications and cross-checked against independent repair sources; always confirm against your owner's manual or door-jamb placard before installation.
Bolt pattern and center bore on this page were cross-checked against at least two independent sources before publication. Last reviewed 2026-09-18. Spotted an error? Email info@ankusi.com and we will verify and correct it.
