Fitting Chevrolet Bolt wheels? This page gives the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt bolt pattern (5x105), centre bore, factory rim size and the offset range for aftermarket and forged Chevrolet Bolt rims: the same spec sheet ANKUSI uses when machining forged wheels for this car.
Quick answer: The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt uses a 5x105 bolt pattern with a 56.6 mm centre bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts. Factory wheels: 17x7.0J at ET44, front and rear. For aftermarket wheels, 18x8.0J ET35 sits flush and 19x8.5J ET30 is the most aggressive fit.
Forged wheels for the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt — drilled 5x105 with a 56.6 mm centre bore, built to the offset you choose. From $220 per wheel, made to order in 20–25 days.
Chevrolet Bolt (2027): 5x105 bolt pattern, 56.6mm center bore. Factory wheels: 17x7.0J at ET44 offset, front and rear. Reference fitment ranges.
Data check: the bolt pattern and center bore on this page have not yet been confirmed by a second independent source. Measure your hub or ask us before ordering. How we verify
| Configuration | Wheel Size & Offset |
|---|---|
| Factory (OE) | 17x7.0J at ET44 offset, front and rear |
| Flush Fitment | 18x8.0J at ET35 offset |
| Maximum Aggressive | 19x8.5J at ET30 offset |
Every design below is forged to order, so it can be machined to the Chevrolet Bolt's 5x105 bolt pattern and 56.6 mm center bore, with the width and offset calculated for your setup.

Use these two references before ordering: the left diagram shows where each spec (PCD, center bore, offset, width and diameter) is measured on the wheel; the right diagram shows how positive, zero and negative offset shift the wheel face relative to the hub centerline.

The Bolt is the awkward one in GM’s line-up when it comes to buying wheels: it uses a 5x105 bolt pattern — the lug pattern almost no shop stocks, because outside GM’s small-car range essentially nothing else uses it. That is the single most important number on this page. A 5x114.3 or 5x110 wheel will not mount, and ANKUSI does not build spacers or adapters to work around a pattern mismatch.
Factory wheel specs are 17x7.0J at ET44, square front and rear, on a 56.6mm center bore with M12x1.5 nuts. That bore is small, so hub-centric machining matters more here than it does on a large-bore SUV. Every ANKUSI wheel for the Bolt is cut to 56.6mm directly rather than shipped oversized with plastic hub rings, which is where most highway-speed vibration complaints on aftermarket EV wheels originate.
Working from that factory number, our Flush Fitment reference of 18x8.0J ET35 moves the outer face roughly 21.7mm further out than OE — 12.7mm of it from the extra inch of width, 9mm from the offset change — while going only 0.15″ deeper inboard (5.73″ backspacing at OE against 5.88″ flush). That small inboard change is why this size clears on a stock or mildly lowered car without liner work. The Maximum Aggressive reference, 19x8.5J ET30, sits about 33mm outboard of stock at 5.93″ backspacing; there the fender lip, not the inner liner, becomes the limit.
Forging is what keeps those figures at the low end of the band — a cast wheel in the same 19x8.5J size needs more material to reach the same 650–750 kg/wheel load reference, and on an EV that weight is paid for twice: once under acceleration, again in regen efficiency.
It is the largest step that still keeps backspacing within 0.15″ of factory, needs no suspension or liner work, and holds the efficiency penalty in single digits. See all 5 tiers if you want to stay closer to stock or push further.
The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt (EV Hatchback) uses a 5x105 bolt pattern with a 56.6mm center bore. Factory wheels are 17x7.0J at ET44 offset, front and rear.
Why the factory spec works for most owners:
ANKUSI builds these wheels — we are the forging factory, not a reseller. For the Chevrolet Bolt (2027) we drill the 5x105 pattern and cut the centre bore to 56.6mm on our own CNC line, so the wheel hub-centres on the car with no spacer rings, in whatever diameter, width and offset you specify.
Converting these ET figures to backspacing? Use the wheel offset and backspacing calculator.
The figures on this page are part of our open wheel fitment dataset — 10,093 vehicles, free to download, CC BY 4.0.
Backspacing is calculated as wheel width (in) ÷ 2 + offset (mm) ÷ 25.4 + 0.5 (flange allowance):
Final clearance depends on the exact tire model, suspension height, brake package, alignment and vehicle tolerances. A physical test fit is recommended before production.
Want to check a different width or offset before you order? Use our Offset & Backspacing Calculator to solve the numbers yourself, or can't find your exact Chevrolet spec, or want a wheel built to a custom offset for your Chevrolet Bolt? Contact ANKUSI with your bolt pattern and offset target and we'll confirm the correct forged wheel spec for your build.
In our database, 36 other vehicle entries from 4 makes use exactly the same 5x105 bolt pattern and 56.6 mm center bore. Factory wheels from these cars bolt on and center on the hub without rings; offset and width still have to be checked.
5x105 is used by 0.6% of the vehicle pages in our English fitment guide (37 of 6,503); 100.0% of those also use a 56.6 mm center bore.
A wheel with a center bore larger than 56.6 mm needs a hub-centric ring. The most common combinations:
| Wheel bore | Ring size |
|---|---|
| 57.1 mm | 57.1 → 56.6 mm |
| 60.1 mm | 60.1 → 56.6 mm |
| 63.4 mm | 63.4 → 56.6 mm |
| 64.1 mm | 64.1 → 56.6 mm |
| 73.1 mm | 73.1 → 56.6 mm |
ANKUSI forged wheels are bored to exactly 56.6 mm for this vehicle, so no ring is needed.
Thread & Fastener: M12x1.5, conical-seat lug nut.
Factory Torque Spec: 136 Nm (100 ft-lb). Covers most Chevrolet passenger cars and crossovers on M12 studs.
TPMS: TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) has been federally mandated on all new light vehicles sold in the US since the 2008 model year. If your wheels use OE-style sensors, have them transferred or cloned to the new wheels at installation.
Tire Pressure: Always set tire pressure to the value on your vehicle's tire placard (driver's doorjamb or glovebox), not the max PSI printed on the tire sidewall — this is trim- and tire-size-specific and stays the same reference point when you switch to a different wheel and tire combination.
Reference data compiled from published OEM service specifications and cross-checked against independent repair sources; always confirm against your owner's manual or door-jamb placard before installation.
