Pontiac Bolt Pattern & Center Bore Notes

Based on the 20 Pontiac fitment guides we cover, we have documented 6 distinct bolt pattern / center bore combinations across different Pontiac platforms and model years:

  • 5x115 bolt pattern, 70.3mm center bore — 5 models we cover, spanning 2005–2009.
  • 5x110 bolt pattern, 65.1mm center bore — 5 models we cover, spanning 2005–2010.
  • 5x100 bolt pattern, 54.1mm center bore — 4 models we cover, spanning 2005–2010.
  • 5x120.65 bolt pattern, 70.3mm center bore — 2 models we cover, spanning 2000–2002.
  • 5x120 bolt pattern, 69.6mm center bore — 2 models we cover, spanning 2005–2006.
  • 5x120 bolt pattern, 66.9mm center bore — 2 models we cover, spanning 2008–2009.

Do not mix platforms: a wheel forged for one Pontiac bolt pattern / center bore combination will not hub-center correctly on a different one, even if the diameter looks right. Always confirm your exact model and year against the bolt pattern and center bore listed on that model page below before ordering — or send us your VIN or trim level and we will confirm it for you.

Offset and backspacing recommendations vary by trim even within the same bolt pattern, mainly due to differences in brake caliper size and suspension geometry between base and performance trims. Every ANKUSI wheel is forged to your exact target offset, so send us your Pontiac model, year, and trim and we will confirm the correct spec before production — no guessing required.

How to check the bolt pattern on your Pontiac

The most common Pontiac fitment in our guide is 5x115 with a 70.3 mm center bore (5 of 20 model years we cover).

  1. Read the stamping on the back of an original wheel: size, offset (ET) and bolt pattern are usually cast into a spoke or the hub pad.
  2. No stamping? Measure center-to-center between two adjacent lug holes. For 5x115 that distance is 67.6 mm (PCD × sin(180° / 5)). A 2 mm difference already means a different bolt pattern.
  3. Match generation and year on the model pages below — the same nameplate can change bolt pattern or center bore between generations.

Changing width or offset? Check how far the wheel moves in or out with our offset & backspacing calculator.

Vehicles Using 5x115 With a 70.3 mm Center Bore

In our database, 133 other vehicle entries from 8 makes use exactly the same 5x115 bolt pattern and 70.3 mm center bore. Factory wheels from these cars bolt on and center on the hub without rings; offset and width still have to be checked.

5x115 is used by 3.3% of the vehicle entries in our database (209 of 6,396); 65.1% of those also use a 70.3 mm center bore.

Hub-Centric Rings for a 70.3 mm Center Bore

A wheel with a center bore larger than 70.3 mm needs a hub-centric ring. The most common combinations:

Wheel boreRing size
70.5 mm70.5 → 70.3 mm
71.6 mm71.6 → 70.3 mm
72.6 mm72.6 → 70.3 mm
73.1 mm73.1 → 70.3 mm

ANKUSI forged wheels are bored to exactly 70.3 mm for this vehicle, so no ring is needed.
