Fitting Honda e wheels? This page gives the 2020-2023 Honda e bolt pattern (5x114.3), centre bore, factory rim size and the offset range for aftermarket and forged Honda e rims: the same spec sheet ANKUSI uses when machining forged wheels for this car.
Quick answer: The 2020-2023 Honda e uses a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 64.1 mm centre bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts. Factory wheels: 17x7.0J ET45, front and rear. For aftermarket wheels, 17x8.0J ET40 sits flush and 17x9.5J ET15 is the most aggressive fit.
Forged wheels for the 2020-2023 Honda e — drilled 5x114.3 with a 64.1 mm centre bore, built to the offset you choose. From $220 per wheel, made to order in 20–25 days.
Honda e (2020-2023): 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 64.1mm center bore. Factory wheels: 17x7.0J at ET45 offset, front and rear. Reference fitment ranges.

Use these two references before ordering: the left diagram shows where each spec (PCD, center bore, offset, width and diameter) is measured on the wheel; the right diagram shows how positive, zero and negative offset shift the wheel face relative to the hub centerline.

SUVs carry more curb weight higher off the ground, so wheel strength and rotational mass both matter more than on a comparable sedan — a heavier wheel amplifies body roll and slows steering response exactly where the platform is already working hardest. Forging keeps the wheel light without giving up the load rating the factory suspension geometry was tuned around.
The Honda e runs a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 64.1mm center bore, and a 17x7.0J, front and rear, wheel from the factory. Our Flush Fitment reference is 17x8.0J ET40, which tucks the tire under the fender lip on a stock-height Honda e. Our Maximum Aggressive reference is 17x9.5J ET15 — beyond that offset, expect rubbing against the inner fender liner under compression without further trimming.
Correction (19 Sep 2026): model-year range corrected from 2006-2023 to 2020-2023. Honda e was produced for model years 2020-2023 only.
The 2020-2023 Honda e (Crossover) uses a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 64.1mm center bore. Factory wheels are 17x7.0J F/R.
Why the factory spec works for most owners:
ANKUSI builds these wheels — we are the forging factory, not a reseller. For the Honda e (2020-2023) we drill the 5x114.3 pattern and cut the centre bore to 64.1mm on our own CNC line, so the wheel hub-centres on the car with no spacer rings, in whatever diameter, width and offset you specify.

For a flush look, F/R 17x8.0J ET40 is a commonly used starting point — clearance must be verified on a stock or mildly lowered Honda e.
F/R 17x9.5J ET15 is a more aggressive reference setup. Beyond this, expect rubbing under compression without fender rolling or camber correction.
Final clearance depends on the exact tire model, suspension height, brake package, alignment and vehicle tolerances. A physical test fit is recommended before production.
Want to check a different width or offset before you order? Use our Offset & Backspacing Calculator to solve the numbers yourself, or looking for your exact Honda spec, or want a wheel built to a custom offset for your Honda e? Contact ANKUSI with your bolt pattern and offset target and we will confirm the correct forged wheel spec for your build.
Backspacing ≈ width/2 + ET/25.4 + 0.5 in. "Inward" means closer to the suspension; "outward" means closer to the fender lip.
| Setup | Size | ET | Backspacing | Inward vs OE | Outward vs OE |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Factory (OE) | 17x7J | ET45 | 5.77 in (147 mm) | — | — |
| Flush | 17x8J | ET40 | 6.07 in (154 mm) | +8 mm | +18 mm |
| Maximum | 17x9.5J | ET15 | 5.84 in (148 mm) | +2 mm | +62 mm |
In our database, 36 other vehicle entries from 7 makes use exactly the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern and 64.1 mm center bore. Factory wheels from these cars bolt on and center on the hub without rings; offset and width still have to be checked.
5x114.3 is used by 20.0% of the vehicle pages in our English fitment guide (1,300 of 6,503); 2.8% of those also use a 64.1 mm center bore.
A wheel with a center bore larger than 64.1 mm needs a hub-centric ring. The most common combinations:
| Wheel bore | Ring size |
|---|---|
| 65.1 mm | 65.1 → 64.1 mm |
| 66.1 mm | 66.1 → 64.1 mm |
| 66.6 mm | 66.6 → 64.1 mm |
| 67.1 mm | 67.1 → 64.1 mm |
| 73.1 mm | 73.1 → 64.1 mm |
ANKUSI forged wheels are bored to exactly 64.1 mm for this vehicle, so no ring is needed.
