Fitting Scion iQ wheels? This page gives the 2011-2012 Scion iQ bolt pattern (4x100), centre bore, factory rim size and the offset range for aftermarket and forged Scion iQ rims: the same spec sheet ANKUSI uses when machining forged wheels for this car.
Quick answer: The 2011-2012 Scion iQ uses a 4x100 bolt pattern with a 54.1 mm centre bore and M12x1.5 lug nuts. Factory wheels: 16x5.0J ET45, front and rear. For aftermarket wheels, 17x7.0J ET45 sits flush and 17x7.0J ET35 is the most aggressive fit.
Forged wheels for the 2011-2012 Scion iQ — drilled 4x100 with a 54.1 mm centre bore, built to the offset you choose. From $220 per wheel, made to order in about 25 days.
Scion iQ (2011-2012): 4x100 bolt pattern, 54.1mm center bore. Factory wheels: 16x5.0J at ET45 offset, front and rear. Reference fitment ranges.

| Configuration | Wheel Size & Offset |
|---|---|
| Factory (OE) | 16x5.0J F/R |
| Flush Fitment | 17x7.0J at ET45 offset |
| Maximum Aggressive | 17x7.0J at ET35 offset |
Use these two references before ordering: the left diagram shows where each spec (PCD, center bore, offset, width and diameter) is measured on the wheel; the right diagram shows how positive, zero and negative offset shift the wheel face relative to the hub centerline.

The Scion iQ's factory wheel spec reflects a deliberate balance between comfort, steering feel and durability that the engineering team tuned for. Forging lets ANKUSI match that same strength target while trimming rotational mass — the part of a wheel upgrade that actually changes how the car drives, not just how it looks.
The Scion iQ runs a 4x100 bolt pattern, 54.1mm center bore, and a 16x5.0J, front and rear, wheel from the factory. Our Flush Fitment reference is 17x7.0J ET45, which tucks the tire under the fender lip on a stock-height Scion iQ. Our Maximum Aggressive reference is 17x7.0J ET35 — beyond that offset, expect rubbing against the inner fender liner under compression without further trimming.
The 2011-2012 Scion iQ (Microcar) uses a 4x100 bolt pattern with a 54.1mm center bore. Factory wheels are 16x5.0J F/R.
Why the factory spec works for most owners:
ANKUSI builds these wheels — we are the forging factory, not a reseller. For the Scion iQ (2011-2012) we drill the 4x100 pattern and cut the centre bore to 54.1mm on our own CNC line, so the wheel hub-centres on the car with no spacer rings, in whatever diameter, width and offset you specify.

For a flush look, F/R 17x7.0J ET45 is a commonly used starting point — clearance must be verified on a stock or mildly lowered Scion iQ.
F/R 17x7.0J ET35 is a more aggressive reference setup. Beyond this, expect rubbing under compression without fender rolling or camber correction.

The examples below are compiled from typical ANKUSI customer configurations and are labeled as reference cases, not individually verified real-world builds.
Case 1: Daily Driver (Factory-Style)
Profile: Everyday driving, prioritizes comfort and low running cost.
Setup: 16x5.0J ET45
Cost: ~$620
Outcome: Minimal visual change, ride and fuel economy essentially unaffected.
Case 2: Balanced Enthusiast (Balanced / Flush Fit)
Profile: Wants a sportier stance without sacrificing daily usability.
Setup: 17x7.0J ET45
Cost: ~$3,000
Outcome: Noticeable visual upgrade, fuel economy drop within the expected range.
Case 3: Show Build (Max Aggressive)
Profile: Built primarily for shows or occasional track/show use.
Setup: 17x7.0J ET35
Cost: ~$5,500
Outcome: Maximum visual impact; daily comfort and fuel economy are heavily compromised, physical test fit required before production.
Backspacing is calculated as wheel width (in) ÷ 2 + offset (mm) ÷ 25.4 + 0.5 (flange allowance):
Final clearance depends on the exact tire model, suspension height, brake package, alignment and vehicle tolerances. A physical test fit is recommended before production.
Want to check a different width or offset before you order? Use our Offset & Backspacing Calculator to solve the numbers yourself, or looking for your exact Scion spec, or want a wheel built to a custom offset for your Scion iQ? Contact ANKUSI with your bolt pattern and offset target and we will confirm the correct forged wheel spec for your build.
Everything above is reference data. If you want wheels actually built to it, that is what ANKUSI does: we are a forged wheel factory in Guangzhou, China, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certified, forging on our own 10,000-ton press and producing over 120,000 wheels a year. Forging blank, CNC machining, finishing, coating and inspection all happen in the same building — nothing is subcontracted and nothing is relabelled from another manufacturer.
Every set is cut to order, so the 4x100 pattern and the 54.1mm centre bore are machined for this car specifically rather than shimmed with adaptor rings. Diameter, width, offset, concavity, monoblock or multi-piece construction and the finish are all yours to choose — most Scion orders on this platform land somewhere between the 17x7.0J ET45 flush setup and the 17x7.0J ET35 aggressive setup referenced above.
We do not hold 4x100 wheels on a shelf — they are forged to order, which is why any offset, width and bore combination on this page is buildable rather than limited to a stock list.
In our database, 154 other vehicle entries from 22 makes use exactly the same 4x100 bolt pattern and 54.1 mm center bore. Factory wheels from these cars bolt on and center on the hub without rings; offset and width still have to be checked.
4x100 is used by 6.9% of the vehicle pages in our English fitment guide (451 of 6,503); 34.4% of those also use a 54.1 mm center bore.
Backspacing ≈ width/2 + ET/25.4 + 0.5 in. "Inward" means closer to the suspension; "outward" means closer to the fender lip.
| Setup | Size | ET | Backspacing | Inward vs OE | Outward vs OE |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Factory (OE) | 16x5J | ET45 | 4.77 in (121 mm) | — | — |
| Flush | 17x7J | ET45 | 5.77 in (147 mm) | +25 mm | +25 mm |
| Maximum | 17x7J | ET35 | 5.38 in (137 mm) | +15 mm | +35 mm |
A wheel with a center bore larger than 54.1 mm needs a hub-centric ring. The most common combinations:
| Wheel bore | Ring size |
|---|---|
| 56.1 mm | 56.1 → 54.1 mm |
| 57.1 mm | 57.1 → 54.1 mm |
| 60.1 mm | 60.1 → 54.1 mm |
| 63.4 mm | 63.4 → 54.1 mm |
| 73.1 mm | 73.1 → 54.1 mm |
ANKUSI forged wheels are bored to exactly 54.1 mm for this vehicle, so no ring is needed.
