How to Read Wheel Offset & Measurements
Use these two references before ordering: the left diagram shows where each spec (PCD, center bore, offset, width and diameter) is measured on the wheel; the right diagram shows how positive, zero and negative offset shift the wheel face relative to the hub centerline.

Mini One Clubman OE Wheel Specs
The 2009 Mini One Clubman (Wagon) uses a 4x100 bolt pattern with a 56.5mm center bore. Factory wheels are 15x5.5J at ET42.
Why the factory spec works for most owners:
- Balances ride comfort with everyday fuel efficiency
- A widely used size in this segment, so tire and wheel availability stays strong
- Keeps unsprung weight low for stable, predictable handling
- Maintains clearance for the factory brake calipers and suspension components
Flush Fitment
For a flush look with minimal rubbing, 16x7J ET38 is the recommended starting point on a stock or mildly lowered Mini One Clubman.
Maximum Aggressive Fitment
17x7.5J ET35 is a more aggressive reference setup. Beyond this, expect rubbing under compression without fender rolling or camber correction.
Real-World Fitment Notes
Eibach Pro-Kit springs; 16-inch BBS SR wheels; standard brakes; Michelin Primacy 4 195/55 R16 tires. Note: Base engine variant of the split-door Clubman estate.

Decision Guide
Offset & Backspacing Reference
Backspacing is calculated as wheel width (in) ÷ 2 + offset (mm) ÷ 25.4 + 0.5 (flange allowance):
- OE: 15x5.5J ET42 → ~4.9″ backspacing
- Flush: 16x7J ET38 → ~5.5″ backspacing
- Max: 17x7.5J ET35 → ~5.63″ backspacing
A Note on Clearance
Final clearance depends on the exact tire model, suspension height, brake package, alignment and vehicle tolerances. A physical test fit is recommended before production.
