What 6x135 Means & What Uses It

6x135 means six lugs on a 135mm circle. Ford uses it across its modern full-size trucks and SUVs — the F-150 (2004+), Expedition (2003+), Lincoln Navigator, F-150 Raptor, and F-150 Lightning all share it, with an 87.1mm factory hub bore. A wheel sold as a generic 6x135 fit with an oversized bore relies on hub rings to center; a wheel cut to the correct 87.1mm bore does not need them.

Offset, Sizing & Sourcing 6x135 Forged Wheels

Factory 6x135 wheels run a high positive offset that tucks the tire under the fender for a stock look; most aftermarket builds drop the offset toward zero or slightly negative for a wider stance, which is why 20x10 setups usually pair with an aggressive low or negative offset. Common diameters run 17 inch (best for tall all-terrain or 35-inch mud-terrain tires) through 22 inch (Navigator or lowered F-150 builds).
