The Ask

The owner of a W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class wanted a wheel that read as understated on the road but still filled the arch properly — no aggressive poke, no lowered stance that would compromise the car’s role as a genuine long-distance cruiser. That brief is exactly what a touring-style multi-spoke wheel is built for.

Getting the Stance Right

We kept offset close to OEM — ET38 versus the factory’s ET40 — and went up one inch in diameter to 19″, which fills the fender more than the stock wheel without changing the car’s ride height or overall rolling diameter meaningfully once tire profile is adjusted to compensate. This is the fitment approach we recommend most often for owners who want presence without giving up comfort.

Finish and Detail

Vossen-style multi-spoke face finished in a bright polished silver — a full mirror-polish treatment that takes more finishing passes than a painted or satin face, which is part of why this style of wheel costs more to produce than a single-finish monoblock.

On the Road

With offset held close to stock and tire profile adjusted to compensate for the larger diameter, the car’s ride quality is close to unchanged — which was the entire point of this build. This is a good reference fitment for any owner who wants their E-Class to look intentional without turning it into a track car.
